Based on the round-back guitar found in Germany, the Baroq-uleles are one of the most option-rich lines of instruments we carry. This Soprano-sized instrument is based upon a 344.5mm (13 9/16 inches) scale. It features a European spruce soundboard with an interlaced rosette design taken from a 16th century vihuela. The back is a round-back or bowl shape made of staves of sheesham rosewood (Dalbergia sissoo). The neck is solid sheesham rosewood and features a nut width of 36mm (1 7/16 inch) with a bone nut. This instrument is outfitted with lute-style ebony friction pegs. The bridge, also made of sheesham rosewood incorporates a genuine bone saddle. An end-pin strap button is standard. Overall size: 22.5 x 7.5 x 3.5 inches.
Scratch & Dent Savings!!! Product codes ending in "-2" are Blemished. They are New and Unused with Superficial blemishes that may include, blisters in the finish, scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, rust or pitting on metals, imperfect glazes, non-structural repairs such as putty in nail holes, or other surface marks. The irregularity does not affect the playability or sound quality of the instrument. These are a good value.
